Dr.V.Pushpalatha, the altruistic Principal of EMG. Yadava Women’s College, has been in-charge of her current prestigious position from 1st June 2020 till date. Being an august alumna of PSG College of Arts and Science at the Under Graduate level and Madurai Kamaraj University at post Graduate and Doctorate level, she has over 17 years of profound teaching experience and 12 years of Research experience. She was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of commerce in 05.10.2005. and later became the Head of the Department in 2018. Having educated from distinguished educational institutions both at school and college level, she has a well acclaimed command over communication skills, leadership skills, administrative and managerial skills who is adept in managing academic programs, staffing and developing culture. She has constantly been instrumental in inspiring staff and students to engage in rigorous and purposeful learning where she focuses in bringing out the multifaceted development in all academic activities within and beyond the curriculum.

Dr. V.Pushpalatha is an advent seeker of professional bonding between various educational and corporate Institutions for creating consistent short–term and long–term strategies in meeting the students’ goals for each year with due credits and credentials. To mention a few she is an active member of organizing committees of various International National and State level academic forums, because of which she has convened appropriately 650 conferences, seminars and workshops together during pandemic and post pandemic, marking such excellence, the institution has been awarded with “UAE Education Award “awarded” at Dubai for exceeding goals, motivating students and surpassing expectations in the field of Teaching Research, publication and Development she has been honored avidly for her dedication and service to the country and society with varied awards and Recognitions.

During her rewarding tenure at EMG Yadava Women’s College, she has served as a member in several academic and administrative committees of the college contributing her best to the institution. She has been in the panel of experts for many Ph.D. candidates, been as a chief Guest and Resource persons at various colleges and Universities. Being active researcher, she has published more than 25 research articles in peer-reviewed National and International Ph.D. scholars and authored books to her credits.

With a strong people-handling-skills, Dr.V.Pushpalatha created various professional development plans for teachers to address individual weaknesses, build on strong the and become more effective team members so as to brin out the hidden and noticeable talents from the young minds. She envisages the future of the prosperous country through Women’s Education that aligns to the great noble vision of EMG group of Educational Institutions.
